William Barclay Grant (Bill), a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Sunday, December, 15th 2024. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 23rd 1943, to William Barclay Grant and Elizabeth Elliot Moore Grant, he was one of two children with his sister Rena Mason. He and his wife Ann, emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1968 and settled in Hamilton, Ontario before moving to the United States in 1985. After several years in Savannah, Georgia, they made their home in the Seattle area in 1988, eventually retiring to Enumclaw, Washington. Bill is survived by his loving wife Ann, and their three daughters: Kirsti Woods, Fiona Grant and Morag Stratton, along with their six cherished grandchildren. He will be remembered for his humor, love of golf, gardening, and spending time with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and integrity and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s association are appreciated.
