The postseason journey continues for the Enumclaw High girls, who will return to Clover Park for a second straight game.
The Hornets took on Camas Tuesday in the opening round of the West Central District/Southwest 3A tournament. Results came too late to be included here, but will determine Enumclaw’s second-round fate.
If EHS was victorious, the Hornets will play at 4:30 p.m. Friday; if EHS lost Tuesday the next contest will come at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The EHS girls advanced as the No. 5 seed out of subregionals after defeating Hazen Friday.
That victory came on the heels of a Feb. 8, overtime win against Decatur. The Hornets responded from a six-point halftime deficit to tie the game at the end of regulation, then outscored Decatur 9-2 in OT.
The Hornets were paced by Katina Ferguson’s 15 points. Calli Remitz scored 11 and Katie Holland added 10.
