VERBAL EXCHANGE: On Dec. 17, Officers were dispatched to a possible physical dispute occurring on the side of the road in the 31900 block of Lake Sawyer Road. Upon arrival officers made contact with a female subject who advised she was in a verbal altercation only with her ex-boyfriend. The female subject advised there was no physical abuse or threats of abuse. The female subject advised the argument was about her ex-boyfriend not returning her cell phone to her. The ex-boyfriend had left the area and was later contacted at his residence. He confirmed that no abuse or threats of abuse had occurred and returned the phone. Domestic Violence Resource information was relayed to each party upon their request. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

PUPPY LOVE: On Dec. 20, an officer was dispatched to a commercial business along the 31500 block of 3rd Avenue for reference of an animal complaint. The caller advised a black, Chow mix, dog had been tied to a railing near the business for three hours. The caller had no further information. Upon arrival the officer located a tag on the dog’s collar which had a nearby animal hospital listed. Since this animal hospital was closed and the weather was cold, the dog was transported to another animal hospital so it could be treated for any injuries.
