Sumner beat Auburn Mountainview 55-15 Wednesday.
Bonney Lake’s girls basketball team beat the Peninsula Seahawks 65-23 Tuesday.
The Panthers are leading the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 1-0 conference record and a 2-2 overall record.
The Spartans boys basketball team won its second game in a row Tuesday 48-45 against Auburn Riverside.
Sumner hosts Peninsula next at 7 p.m. Friday.

Officers responded to a residence on West Tapps Highway East to the report of a burglary and it was possible the owner was confronting the suspect. Upon arrival, officers waited for backup before clearing the residence but the owner became angry.
