WRHS’ Brooke Gelinas took fourth overall, finishing at 154.
Emily Miller and Emma McKeighen placed fifth in the district tourney.
The EHS boys placed fifth in district play, and was the only local team to send the whole squad to state.
The Hornets’ first game is Friday, May 24.
The state meet is May 23 – 25.
Many local races are uncontested, and most of the rest will skip primaries.
The Hornets fell 9-3 to the Ridgefield Spudders.
EHS team of Gracelyn Boren, Dustin Clarke, Daisy Ruvalcaba and Lane Williams took first in the FARM for Kids event.
There are many council positions opening up in Enumclaw, Buckley, and Black Diamond.
Their first game is this Saturday, May 18, against the Spudders.
Busy streets of downtown Enumclaw will be closed Saturday, so plan accordingly.
Track, tennis, and softball are continuing their postseason, but baseball fell behind.
