The golf course in Sumner may be sold to an industrial developer as soon as mid-August when the Sumner City Council is expected to vote on a purchase and sale agreement.
It began five years ago with a group of city employees who simply wanted to play a round of golf together; they coordinated a vacation day and gradually, their friends and family began joining in the fun.
