Great things are happening with the Enumclaw Area Chamber of Commerce. New businesses are opening, great events are being planned, new businesses are partnering with the Chamber and new workshops are being offered.

Bring your pet, family and costumes for the annual downtown trick-or-treating from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31.

The third annual Enumclaw Winter Wine Walk will see Cole Street closed from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17 to accommodate the participating businesses featuring Washington wineries. Tickets – which include an official Riedel wine glass and 10 tasting tickets – are now available online for purchase.

Before purchasing tickets, visit the chamber’s website to find a list of businesses where you can get a $5 discount code.

At the chamber office, we’re excited to be offering our traditional Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. on Cole Street. We are looking for the community’s help in planning the event; contact the chamber for more information.

The chamber has started a business education series, better known BMW.

A Business Marketing Workshop, which covers a wide array of marketing topics, is hosted from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

We will soon be starting an afternoon Business Mentoring Workshop, planned for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month. In this BMW series, we will be reading a business book together, staring with “EntreLeadership” by Dave Ramsey. The meetings are open to everyone, free to chamber members and $5 for nonmembers.
