Police took a report the afternoon of Nov. 1 about someone walking around the Battersby Avenue area, hitting signs and being confrontational. Officers contacted both the suspect and the reporting party; the suspect was counseled and the matter was settled.

Part one of the domestic violence series provided an in-depth look at stories from victims who have dealt with domestic violence. The stories had a few things in common, including that the victims stayed with their abuser for years. This raises the questions of how victims can get out of a domestic violence situation.
Oct. 22 activity included a DUI incident at 12:25 a.m. at SR 410 and Mundy Loss Road; a road rage situation shortly before 1 p.m., also at SR 4110 and Mundy Loss Road; a commercial burglary alarm at a Cemetery Road address; and a shoplifting incident at 11:06 p.m. at a highway location.

According to employees, the man was acting strange, walked behind the counter with his hands in his pockets and stared at the clerk, which was when she tripped the emergency robbery button.
A quartet of Enumclaw High golfers are headed to the Class 4A state tournament and five others will have one more opportunity to advance to state play.
