The Department of Justice report for 2018 shows that there were over 61 million interactions with police and citizens that year. 35 million were civilians contacting the police (reporting crime, disturbance, emergencies), and 28 million where the police contacted them (stops, tickets, arrests, etc.).
National statistics show that only 23 unarmed black people were shot by police (even accidentally) in 2018. 23 shootings, out of 28,000,000 interactions between police and civilians. Let me say that again – only 23 shootings out of 28 million interactions between police and civilians.
The Washington Post has been keeping track of fatal shootings by police over the last six years. It’s steady — the average is about 991 deaths per year, over the last six years. 991 out of 338,000,000 people in the U.S. – that also counts all the people shooting at the police, and them shooting back.
The current President of the United States, the Vice President, The Speaker of the House, Half of Congress, and the “Party Line” of the mainstream media will look directly in the camera and say with a straight face, that America is “systemically racist,” and that police are aggressively shooting and killing “black people.”
If you ate a jellybean every time MSNBC or CNN used the words “systemically racist’ or ‘police shooting black people’, you will be upgrading dress/pants size two times by year end.
“Normal people” when their only source of news is the nightly news channel, and watching videos of distressed and concerned presidents and Congress members, will get very concerned about the role of the police, and will start to nod their heads and start to agree about the calls to “Defund the Police.” Well, how does that work out for you, when the police are defunded? Washington D.C. has seen a 350 percent increase in carjackings over last year. Crime in Portland, Seattle and California in general, has steadily been going up (police are leaving in droves).
Who in their right minds would want to be a cop, with the media acting as the “armchair quarterbacks,” second guessing every move they make?
Why would they do this? What do they hope to gain? They are clearly presenting “facts” to the masses that have no basis in reality – what are they hoping to accomplish?
A week ago, I talked about the Reichstag Building in Germany – the equivalent to the capitol in Germany in 1933. Someone set fire to it in 1933 and Hitler enacted emergency legislation to suspend civil liberties, to “protect” the civilians from the terrors of the “Communists attacking” the capitol. I mentioned this to an older gentleman, who was raised in Germany. He reminded me that as part of that, he enacted legislation that removed police that were of the wrong “political persuasion,” and deputized the SS, the SA and other paramilitary. His parents were always in fear when they were around.
Once they get rid of all the police, what are they going to replace them with?
