I would like to thank our city council for the wonderful activities we have in Enumclaw. My family has enjoyed the Friday night cars, fire pits downtown, and the extremely friendly family-oriented atmosphere we have in spite of the pandemic fears.

I find offensive the articles written by Rich Elfers, which seem to be specifically targeting all conservative people in our community and nation. Please get another contributor or stop the liberal articles all together. I believe there are many more conservative people in Enumclaw than liberal people.

My family believes in conservative values, family, marriage, community, traditional values you would find in the Bible. I believe many in our community share these values. The liberal left has taken over our government, promoting homosexuality, open marriage, abortion on demand. They will have their day, but in two years when Congress in controlled by conservatives again, some of these policies will fade. In two weeks’ time our new president has signed decrees that boys “who feel like girls” may use female restrooms and locker room in our schools and colleges. Boys “who feel like girls” may compete on female athletic teams (two female coaches Iread said this will be the end of female athletics if this is allowed to continue).

The very loud liberal left will have their day for a time until more common sense minds come back into leadership. The homeless encampments inSeattle and Portland parks will spread, until more conservative leadership is elected when enough citizens say enough is enough.

We need to pray for guidance of our leaders in this community and the state and the nation to come back to conservative views.
