I have been told that gas stations are told what the gas price needs to be.  I have also been told that gas stations do not make much profit off of the gas.

I must really give a big thank you to Enumclaw QFC and Enumclaw Safeway gas stations.  They must be giving back to the community and losing money on every gas sale.  Those two stations are helping the community greatly, so thank you.

How, you say?

Well the last year or longer both stations were about 5 to 10 cents higher than Bonney Lake Safeway gas station.  Since the gas increase they kept the prices at 3.83 for a long time and just went up to 3.95 recently(before card discount). They have been 7 to 14 cents lower than Bonney Lake gas station, instead of being at a higher price.  I thought that Enumclaw may have had higher gas prices because of extra taxes.  Enumclaw businesses (QFC and Safeway) are sacrificing for their customers benefit. So thank you.
