It’s never enough

Based on numbers from the legislature, Enumclaw School District will be receiving huge funding increases from the state. Yet here we are with Enumclaw and a bunch of other districts telling the taxpayers, give us more, we need more.

The Enumclaw School District is wanting more money from the Taxpayers, yet on January 25th when looking on their web site for a current budget to figure out where they are spending their money, no current budget is shown. Go figure, right?

Based on numbers from the legislature, Enumclaw School District will be receiving huge funding increases from the state. Yet here we are with Enumclaw and a bunch of other districts telling the taxpayers, give us more, we need more. It’s never enough!

And while the district is begging for more money please do not forget that the Enumclaw School district tore down 2 schools that in the real world should not have been torn down and replaced. And if we remember 2 years back, the school district asked for citizens vote for an $87 million bond levy for 2 new schools. And along with the new classrooms at the high school we would get a new “state of the art preforming arts center”, and “a brand new gym”! Remember that? They came back to the taxpayer and said, we don’t have enough money for the new Gym and Performing arts center but we are taking the money from you anyway. I would like to know how in the hell can a School District come up short $22 million on an $87 million dollar sales pitch and not even offer an apology to the voters and taxpayers let alone not have the attorney general or someone in government call B.S. and do something.

Vote NO on the school levy because it’s never enough.
