Part of me is hesitant to dignify Buss’ gullible, ill-informed dogma that is printed here (“Trump will stand for the people,” published Oct. 2); but for me to remain silent would make me complicit in Buss’ propaganda.
Like Charles Manson, Jim Jones and David Koresh; Trump is an authoritarian leader with extremist beliefs who is venerated by people like Buss. Beware.
Readers here would like to know how much money did Buss benefit from Trump’s 2017 needless tax cut that inordinately favored the wealthy? How much?!
Most felons are barred from important job opportunities and yet Buss supports Trump’s return to the White House.
Let’s conduct a thought experiment. Imagine if Trump is Black. Trump wouldn’t be seeking the presidency for a third time. He would be sharing a bathroom with Harvey Weinstein, Sean Combs, R. Kelly and with shoplifters right about now. This double standard is an indictment of the American judicial system.
Observations: Harris’ VP position is a mostly ceremonial job. Airports are crowded! The economy must be doing well with so many people traveling. Trump bamboozled Buss and MAGA into believing he would build a wall at the southern border and have Mexico pay for it.
Several letters here reminded Buss how Trump sabotaged the bipartisan immigration bill that Biden was prepared to sign. More proof that Trump is a hypocrite and that he doesn’t care about Buss or America. Trump’s diplomatic and military staff negotiated the military withdrawal from Afghanistan. To his credit, Biden honored the agreement and acted on it. Buss is reaching here by trying to blame Biden for the chaotic military withdrawal. If Buss is eager to blame someone; blame the commanders on the ground in Afghanistan at the time.
Trump was treated with the expensive Cadillac platinum not-available-to-the-regular-patient COVID antiviral medication while hospitalized in a military hospital while he incompetently fumbled and ignored the pandemic that killed over 1,000,000 people in America. DEI? Vance and Trump aren’t qualified to be President. Trump is an ignorant college drop-out who inherited his father’s corrupt company and proceeded to rake up monstrous debt and squandered his father’s wealth. Trump was well in over his head as president. Vance was accepted to Yale Law school via affirmative action and immigrant billionaire Thiel secured several lucrative Silicon Valley jobs for Vance. Vance didn’t earn it.
Immigrants continue to make America great. Immigrants are now cleaning up and rebuilding after Hurricane Helene. My mother spent the last years of her life in a nursing home. I continue to be so grateful to the dedicated hardworking nursing assistants who took good care of my mother by seeing to all of my mother’s needs. These nursing assistants were all from somewhere else. Who does this kind of work today in American hospitals and nursing homes? Buss? MAGA? Buss, better hope he doesn’t wind up in a nursing home being cared for by immigrants. Wouldn’t that be poetic?
Beware of the orange calf and don’t drink Buss’ and Trump’s Kool-Aid.
