Editor’s note: This letter references an event where community members sent cards and little gifts to a local, last name withheld, who told a postal worker she did not receive Christmas cards.

I am so glad to be a part if this wonderful community of Enumclaw.

The cards and gifts that I have received from the wonderful residents of our town has lifted my spirits to a new level. The area residents are the definition of the Christmas spirit.

I wish to thank each and every one of you.

So for all of you that took the time to share your Christmas with a stranger, please accept my sincere thank you and a wish for the merriest of holidays to you and your families.
