In a recent letter, Walter Hammermeister said science and archeology have never been disproved in the Bible. If this is true, then why does Lev. 11:13,19 say a bat is a bird, Lev. 11:5-6 says hares chew the cud and insects Lev. 11:22-23 have four legs.
Satan takes Jesus to a high mountain and offers him all of the kingdoms on earth. Is the world flat?
Synoptics vs. John. How are these the same? Mark 1:4,9; 10:18 vs. John 1:29-34; 3:26. Matthew 4:12,17; Mark 1:14; Luke 3:19, 20 vs. John 3:22-24; Matthew 17:11-13 vs. John 1:19-21; Matthew 21:12,13 vs. John 2:11-16 (timing) Matthew 26:17, Mark 14:12, Luke 22:7 vs. John 13:1,2,29; 18:28; 19:14-31-42.
Sorry, have to look it up.
Jesus speaks of the second coming.
In Matthew 10:23 Jesus tells disciples they will “Not have gone over all cities of Israel, till the son of man be come.”
No where in the gospels did Jesus talk about a return thousands of years in the future.
Mark 16:62, Jesus told chief priests, “You shall see the son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
Jesus gave us a false prophecy, because the chief priests have been dead 1,900 years or more. They did not see Jesus come back.
In finishing, the Bible is full of mistakes. A bat is not a bird and rabbits do not chew cud.
