The teacher termination bill really (puts power) in the hands of one person: the evaluator of that teacher. What if the evaluator is not competent? Then all the teachers under him/her who get a poor evaluation will lose their jobs.
It’s that simple.
There is no complaint form for an evaluator or a process to get rid of bad evaluators. This is a bad bill and needs to be redone.
