There was a time, when gun control meant using two hands (a joke).
Today, there is an agenda – where they want to take your guns away from you, and to remove the Second Amendment.
A recent example – the Shooting in Colorado, where 10 people were shot, one of them a cop. The cameras showed a light-skinned man being taken away.
Within a couple of hours, the media and the government spouted “White Supremacy!” Kamala Harris’ niece quickly tweeted “violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country.” A couple hours later, we discovered that the shooter was Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a Syrian, who hated Trump – Oops, can’t sell the race card,so the narrative changed to the need for gun control!
Even though Boulder, CO, has universal background checks, high-capacity magazine bans, assault weapon bans, and it’s illegal to kill people — how well did that gun control work? Strict gun control laws exist in California, New York, Illinois, Maryland, and D.C – strict gun control was already in effect. Chicago ended 2020 with 769 gun homicides – how is defunding the police working there? The old adage of “If guns are outlawed, only criminals will have guns” (and the government) is still true.
The established definition of a ‘mass shooting’ is four or more people – the “government-sponsored media” (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) says that white violence is “systemic” and assault rifles are the root of all evil.
Come on man, let’s follow the science! Out of 330 million people in the US, there are a 19,000 homicides a year, and 14,000 are gun related. Assault rifles are targeted because they look scary. But they are used in “mass shootings” very rarely — less than once a year on average since 1982. We are not talking about bar fights, gangland shootings, family disputes, but a shooter in a public place, with a scary AR-15 or other semi-automatic rifle. Those shooters, who had serious mental issues, killed about 315 people over a 10 year period. Not enough to break the Constitution, cancel the Second Amendment, banish the filibuster and push through a ton of gun legislation.
But that doesn’t fit the narrative that the left is trying to promote — so if a white guy with an assault rifle didn’t do it, then it never makes the news. You can always tell when the mainstream media (or politicians) are lying, because their lips are moving! Prove me wrong!
When you listen to the left decry the evils of guns, notice that the elites are all surrounded by private security with guns to spare, and the U.S. Capitol is currently surrounded by more soldiers than are serving in Afghanistan. Gun control means that your guns are taken away, then only criminals and government are the ones with guns. What could go wrong with that? Middle America gun owners take pride in handling their guns safely and legally. And with everyone “defunding the police,” who ya gonna call?
