Elections have consequences. And the consequences of electing Democrats to control this state are coming to fruition. The Democrats have backed and put into place laws that take the handcuffs off criminals and put them on police officers. The Democrats have firmly planted their flag into the camp of criminals while giving cops and the law abiding citizens the middle finger.
These consequences (intended?) will do three things:
1. Cops are fleeing the profession and well qualified people will not join the profession. These new laws tweak language which changes procedures used by police. The procedures have been used for decades and have been upheld time and time again by the U.S. Supreme Court. The new wording essentially forces police to watch criminals wave goodbye. If the officer violates these laws, he/she faces discipline, termination and criminal prosecution and potential prison time. Smart, college educated officers and well trained military veterans do not want to run the risk of going to prison, so they are leaving. And qualified people will not want to be a police officer.
2. Cops will be hurt or killed with these new laws. I think many Democrats celebrate when cops take the bullet or knife instead of the criminal they are supporting.
3. Crime will rise. Property crime will be off the charts and violent crime will rise. When cops aren’t allowed to do proactive police work, this is a predictable result. You all might want to invest in firearms.
Democrats, along with BLM, have completely twisted and manipulated the FBI statistics on officer-involved shootings to justify these restrictions on officers. The bottom line is that a vast majority of police shootings are justified. The criminals escalate the situation and brandish a knife or firearm and they end up getting shot. If you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. There is no crisis of racist police officers randomly shooting unarmed black men. That is a lie.
Why would Democrats do that? I think there are multiple reasons, and some altruistic ideal is not one of them. 1. Democrats have family or friends that are criminals and they want to protect them from big, bad evil officers. 2. Votes, plain and simple. 3. The modern day Democrats have morphed into leftists and leftists love to destabilize domestic life. What better way to do that than pass laws where cops are handcuffed and evil people can flourish?
I always believed liberalism is a mental disorder. However, pro-American liberals have morphed into anti American leftists and they have sunk into full-on psychopaths.
If you have supported this leftist move by voting Democrat, shame on you. Take the time to educate yourself about the consequences of one-party rule by leftist psychopaths.
Defund the police, dismantle the police, re-imagine police? Get out of here with that nonsense, you psychopath. Just look at the cities pushing that nonsense. They are crime-ridden crap holes.
