Bob Roegner’s cautionary column regarding Boeing donating to the Republicans (“Boeing’s latest political donations deserve a closer look”, published online Feb. 4) shows his liberal blue bias. Is this the latest conspiracy in his life? Should we take to the streets waving placards and picketing Boeing?

Suggestion, Bob. Be sure you boycott businesses that use Boeing products. Don’t fly American, Southwest, United, and Air Canada. Sadly you’ll miss out on that delicious airline food but sacrifices must be made. Also, unfurl your flag upside down in distress since Boeing is responsible for 9-plus fighter and attack aircrafts used by the imperialist U.S.A. to force its will on other nations.

Bob, your concerns are best summarized by the famous bard Shakespeare who wrote, “Much Ado About Nothing.”
