Looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday morning with family or friends? Consider the Enumclaw Rotary Street Fair 5K Run/Walk. This is a great event is for all ages and fitness levels for several reasons, or at least five:
1. The 5K distance is not difficult for most physically active kids and adults as it is equivalent to about 12 laps around a high school track.
2. It is a run or walk event that is timed for those who want to race against the clock and compete with others in their age group; however, there is a non-competitive option for those who want to walk without being timed.
3. This event takes place in downtown Enumclaw as part of the Enumclaw Street Fair Festival and is easily accessible without having to drive into the big city and find parking.
4. The course is flat without hills and challenging terrain.
5. This event is a fundraiser for Enumclaw Rotary which supports many food, housing and health causes on the Plateau.
An added bonus is enjoying the Street Fair’s food and music as a reward for your hard work!
We encourage you to try this event and want to know about your experience. Perhaps you will inspire someone else to get out and do a 5k.
