Molen Orthodontics had another successful candy buy back event.

Every year on Nov. 1, the local business buys back literal tons of candy at $2 per pound, plus an extra dollar if the kids come in a costume, and another if they make a canned food donation.

More than 2,293 pounds of candy were bought back this year from around 600 kids, who received a total of nearly $6,400. Additionally, about 1,200 canned food items were collected and will be distributed to local food banks.
