ManeStage Theatre Company will conclude its’ fifth season with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!
Oklahoma! will be performed by more than 45 experienced, local actors and musicians.
The show stars Jay Henson as Curly McLain, ManeStage Executive Director Brenda S. Henson as Laurey Williams, Daisy Nau as Aunt Eller, Megan Worthen as Ado Annie, Jonathan Fowles as Will Parker and Jeremy Lynch as Ali Hakim.
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s first collaboration brings farmers and cowboys together as they begin life in a brand new state.
Oklahoma! will open August 11 at the Sumner Performing Arts Center located at 1707 Main Street, in Sumner. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, August 11 at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 12 at 2 p.m., Friday, August 17 at 7 p.m., Saturday, August 18 at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 19 at 2 p.m., Friday, August 24 at 7 p.m., Saturday, August 25 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show closes Sunday, August 26 at 2 p.m.
The show is directed by Kathryn Stahl and choreographed by Executive Director Brenda S. Henson. The Music Director is local composer Daniel Schreiner. The costumers are Judy Brooks and Jodi Josephson.
Tickets are $18 for general admission, $15 for students, seniors (55+) and military and $10 for children 10 and younger.
