The Plateau is now home to a 4-H performing arts club.

Tani Adams will lead the club, which is new to King County. The Enumclaw leader will also serve as the superintendent for King County for performing arts.

The first meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Thunder Mountain Middle School. The group will meet the first and third Monday of each month.

The 4-H club will cater to kids ages 5 to 19, who have a desire to learn about theater, choreography, stage craft, sound engineering, writing plays and skits, play an instrument or want to learn photography.

The cost is $10 to join. Current 4-Hers can belong to other clubs and still participate in the arts club for no additional fee.
