The city of Enumclaw’s Gallery 2010 presents “Simpler Times” by photographer Vicki Dvorak. The exhibit, located at City Hall, begins today, Wednesday, and continues through March 3.
As a color consultant, artist and children’s art instructor, Dvorak recently discovered a love for photography.
As someone who has always cherished the simple things in life, photography has become an amazing outlet for her to capture these moments, said Gary LaTurner, Enumclaw’s cultural programs manager. “Her photos are filled with soft pastel colors, vintage charm and whimsy, and take the viewer back to simpler times.”
Artists have been selected by the arts commission for an exhibit at City Hall in Gallery 2010. The year’s schedule will include Susan Payne, March; John Rogers, April; Linda Petchnick, May; Mary Janosik, June; Sallie Zydek, July; Mike Dilbeck, August; Lisa Parsons, September; Guest Artists, October; Bob Charlow/Kalispel Nation, November; and Payette Still, December.
Gallery 2010 is located in the Council Chambers, 1339 Griffin Ave. Hours for the exhibition space are 8 a. m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Enumclaw City Hall is closed on national holidays. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesday of each week for municipal court proceedings. For information, contact the Enumclaw Cultural Programs office at 360-802-0239
