With the rain and dark skies of winter upon us, nothing buoys drowning spirits more than music. Especially the songs of Christmas we all love like Silver Bells, Silent Night and White Christmas. Well it is no fairy tale; Santa Claus is Coming to Town with a gift that will warm your heart so you can have yourself a merry little Christmas.
The Chalet Arts Showcase Theatre (CAST) is presenting the Cascade Foothills Chorale in concert on Saturday and Sunday. Both shows are scheduled as 2:30 p.m. matinees at the Historic Chalet Theater on Wells St. in Enumclaw.
In addition to many fun and familiar tunes there will be an interactive audience participation in singing the Twelve Days of Christmas.
The audience is fortunate to have esteemed choral director, Dean Seuss, conducting the performance. With more than 30 years experience, and professional credits normally found in the more metropolitan areas, you will get the best Christmas treat.
A full-time musician for the Lutheran Church, Seuss holds degrees in French horn performance and choral conducting and has done extensive work in the field of musicology, holding two graduate fellowships at the University of Washington.
Tickets are $10, available at the door, or through any member of Cascade Foothills Chorale.
