Black Diamond’s Ten Trails development is hosting a Hometown Hoedown this weekend, Sept. 17.

The event starts at 11 a.m. with a reptile show at the civic park basketball court, followed by live music by Sammy Steele & The Spades from noon to 1:30 p.m.

A chili cook-off at Civid Park kicks off immediately after; at the same time, a water balloon contest will be occurring nearby.

Finally, from 2 to 5 p.m., Aaron Crawford will be taking the stage.

There will also be a beer garden, bouncy houses, various lawn games, a bucking bronco, chalk art, and pumpkin painting available all day.
