TOMORROW NIGHT: Family Bingo at the Bonney Lake Senior Center

Players can play all games for as little as $6, allowing them to compete for cash prizes from $5 to $200.

The Bonney Lake Senior Center invites people of all ages for Family Bingo Night, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Players can play all games for as little as $6, allowing them to compete for cash prizes from $5 to $200.

“We also have a mini snack bar with cold drinks, candy chips and popcorn on Friday nights and our prices are very low,” said Sherry Creson, vice president of the senior center’s Advisory Board. “A family night out for far less money than a movie, plus the possibility of winning cash. And it’s family time. Time for Mom and Dad to spend with the kids. It also helps the community by supporting the senior center.”

The advisory board is trying to get the word out and raise attendance at Family Bingo, which has lagged behind the 18-and-older bingo afternoon game, held Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the games go to the nonprofit senior center to supplement foot care, trips, special events and more.

The center’s Bingo committee also seeks dedicated volunteers to help operate the games. Interested volunteers are asked to speak with Senior Services Manager Sue Hilberg or senior center member Vi Brown. Hilberg can be reached at 253-447-4327.

The Bonney Lake Senior Center is located at 19304 Bonney Lake Blvd.
