The 13th annual Cruise Into Fall show will take over downtown Enumclaw Sept. 13 and organizers are busily getting participants signed up.
The event, sponsored by the Stratocruisers Car Club, begins at 8 a.m. Cole Street and side streets will be closed to traffic so visitors can peruse beauties on both four and two wheels. The event is open to all pre-1980 classic cars, street rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Cruise Into Fall has previously featured up to 400 cars and attracted thousands of spectators.
This year’s event will attract the usual vast array of vehicles, along with food vendors, prizes, a raffle and displays by car and motorcycle dealers.
The Stratocruisers put on Cruise Into Fall as a nonprofit venture, making sure a healthy portion of the show revenues are returned to charitable causes in the area.
Participants pay a $15 registration fee and there will be dash plaques for the first 200 cars registered before Sept. 1. Traditionally, entries are taken until the morning of the event.
