Drew Stokesbary, elected in November as state representative from the 31st Legislative District, has received his committee assignments for the upcoming legislative session. Stokesbary will serve on the Appropriations, Finance, and Judiciary Committees.

The House Appropriations Committee considers the state operating budget, while the Finance Committee considers issues relating to tax policy. The House Judiciary Committee considers a wide variety of subjects involving civil and criminal law.
