Emerald Star Entertainment, Rich Wetzel and his Groovin’ Higher Orchestra is pleased to invite the public to celebrate the rich sounds of the holiday season with vibrant jazz performed by the Rich Wetzel’s Groovin’ Higher Orchestra along with the stirring voices of Sunny Jo Loudin and Steve Stefanowicz.

The 14th Annual Big Band Christmas performed at the Tacoma Community College Auditorium has become an annual holiday tradition and family favorite in Tacoma since the event began in 2000. The concert is being presented for those seeking a joyous holiday outing with family and friends.

The Tacoma Community College and Rich Wetzel, director of Emerald Star Entertainment have partnered together to offer the community an opportunity to enjoy an enchanting concert full of familiar tunes and grand classics that blend beautifully into the atmosphere of the season.

Event director and professional trumpeter, Rich Wetzel said, “I believe the ‘Big Band Christmas’ has become viewed as a kickoff to the holiday season here in Tacoma. People tell me they come expecting to leave the concert with a true sense of holiday spirit.”

Join in with us to kickoff the 2014 holiday season at the Tacoma Community College Auditorium, Bldg 2, 650 S. 19th Street, Tacoma, WA 98466 on Saturday, December 6, 2014 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The doors will be open at 7:00 p.m.  Free parking and accessible.
