All suspects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: At 3:23 a.m. Nov. 7, an officer pulled over a driver on South Cottage Street in relation to a noise complaint. The officer knew she was driving under a license suspended in the second degree, confirmed the status with dispatch, and placed her under arrest for the violation.
PARAPHERNALIA: At 2:31 p.m. Nov. 8, a 43-year-old Buckley man as stopped for speeding in a school zone and found to possess drug paraphernalia. He was arrested, issued a notice of infraction and criminal citation, and released on location.
BURGLARY: At 10:15 a.m. Nov. 8, a 31-year-old Buckley man reported unknown persons had broken into his Ryan Road home, stealing multiple items. The victim was able to provide serial numbers for several stolen items, which were entered into WACIC. The case was forwarded to investigations.
ASSAULT: At 9:54 p.m. Nov. 8, an officer on Division Street arrested a subject on suspicion of domestic violence assault in the 4th degree.
ANIMAL COLLISION: At 4:48 p.m. Nov. 9, officers were dispatched to assist Washington State Patrol in its search for a car and deer collision. The accident was located on state Route 410 East, immediately west of Semanski Street in Enumclaw. The animal turned out to be an elk. The driver was not injured and the apparently injured animal had run off. Enumclaw officers took over the scene and the state Department of Fish and Wildlife was notified.
