Enumclaw High School senior Andy Holdener can add Eagle Scout to his long list of accomplishments.

Holdener, a member of Boy Scout Troop 422, recently became one of the 2 to 3 percent who earn the Boy Scout’s highest rank after completing his Eagle Scout project.

For his project, Holdener oversaw the building of five display stands for the Enmclaw Expo Center. The approximately 4-foot by 10-foot, three-tier structure will be used to display flower exhibits and arrangements during competition at the Enumclaw fair.

Holdener, the son of Dan and Cindy Holdener, is a National Honor Society member, DECA member and coaches with the Junior Hornets football program.

He was also a member of the Enumclaw High football team, who plans to take his game to the University of Puget Sound in the fall.

Holdener said one of the highlights of his Scouting career was a 50-mile canoe and hiking trip around Ross Lake.
