Organizers behind the 45th annual Daffodil Arabian Horse Association of Washington show are working to “Pony Up Bucks for the Kids” who use the Children’s Therapy Unit at Multi Care Good Samaritan Hospital.
The Daffodil Dual Spring Show will take place April 29 through May 1 at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. The show will bring together more than 200 horses from all parts of the Puget Sound region and Canada.
The Daffodil Club board of directors researched information on local charities and discovered the Children’s Therapy Unit just a mile from the show grounds.
The Children’s Therapy Unit serves approximately 2,600 children annually with more than 37,000 hours of treatment. Children, from birth to age 18, receive care from speech, physical and occupational therapists, psychological services and highly individualized programs – all in one building.
The show will feature a raffle for gift certificates from both Show Season and J Lewis Jewelry plus a four-night stay at an oceanside condo in Mazatlan, Mexico. There will be a stallion auction along with additional offerings. Youth exhibitors will get a chance to “Ride a BIG buck for the Kids” class and much more.
