A CPR in progress, a stuck animal control officer, and a need for gas.

Aug. 29

• Officers and EMS were called to an Ash Avenue address around 8:45 a.m. to a CPR in progress; the victim was declared dead at the scene. A death investigation was conducted.

• Police were flagged down around 5:52 p.m. by a King County Animal Control officer who needed assistance getting his vehicle out of a ditch. Officers called a tow and stood by until the vehicle was recovered.

• Officers were called to Kanaskat Drive around 7:34 p.m. regarding some suspicious vehicles. The caller said one car dropped off a small bag by the side of the road, and it was picked up by another vehicle a short time later. Police were unable to find either vehicle after a search.

Aug. 31

• Police were dispatched to 3rd Avenue around 4:53 p.m. regarding a dispute. They learned the incident involved multiple juveniles, who had left before officers arrived. The suspects were identified and charges were forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

Sept. 2

• Officers were called to Cumberland Way around 9:57 a.m. regarding a man asking for fuel. They gave him a ride to a gas station to fill a fuel can.

Sept. 3

• Police responded to a noise complaint on 3rd Avenue around 5:07 p.m. Officers contacted the building owner, because it was being rented out, and they said the issue will be taken care of.

• Officers were again called to 3rd Avenue to a noise complaint, this time around 10:33 p.m. Police contacted an individual who agreed to turn the music down.

Sept. 5

• Police were dispatched to 232nd Avenue SE to a speeding boat complaint. No boat was found.
