The City of Black Diamond is seeking applicants to fill vacancies for Position #2 (formerly filled by Brad Douglass) and Position #5 (formerly filled by Kristiana de Leon) on the Black Diamond City Council, due to recent resignations.

The term for each position will commence once a candidate is appointed by a majority vote of the City Council and will expire after the results of the general election to be held in November 2025 have been certified.

Residents interested in applying for these Council positions must have resided in the City of Black Diamond for at least one year prior to Council appointment and must be registered to vote.

Application forms may be obtained at City Hall, located at 24301 Roberts Drive, Black Diamond, WA 98010 or on the City’s website www.blackdiamondwa.gov under “Public Notices” on the homepage. Applications must be received at City Hall by 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. A mailing postmark will not be accepted.
