The city of Bonney Blog CityBlog released a reminder about laws concerning the discharge of fireworks within the city.
Approved fireworks may only be used between the hours of 6 p.m. Dec. 31 and 1 a.m. Jan. 1. Violating the city’s fireworks laws may be punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.

The Washington State Patrol website also provides a list of “Safe and Sane” fireworks.
