VEHICLE THEFT

• On Sept. 16, a vehicle was stolen from the park and ride on Sky Island Drive. The 46-year-old male victim stated the doors were locked and no keys were in the vehicle.

DRIVING UNDER

THE INFLUENCE

• On Sept. 16, police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 18000 block of state Route 410. Medics were already there tending to occupants of the rear vehicle. A 49-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Her vehicle had several 16-ounce beer cans on the floor. The officer noticed an odor of intoxicants from the car.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE

• On Sept. 17, police were dispatched to Myers Road regarding a report of domestic violence. A 28-year-old male and 30-year-old female said the incident was verbal only. The man agreed to sleep at a neighbor’s apartment that evening.

BURGLARY

• On Sept. 19, police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at the city of Bonney Lake police radio tower on West Tapps Highway. The maintenance worker at the location showed the officer a vandalized key box.

DRUG POSESSION

On Sept. 19 police stopped a vehicle because the registered owner has a suspended license. The driver consented to a search of his vehicle and several syringes were found in the vehicle as well as a gram of black tar heroin. The 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin and driving with a suspended license.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF

• On Sept. 21, an officer was sent to 199th Avenue Court East for a report of malicious mischief occurring at Mountainview Middle School. The custodian told the officer the graffiti was noticed after the weekend.

SHOPLIFTING

• On Sept. 20, an officer was dispatched to Fred Meyer regarding a report of shoplifting. A 33-year-old female was arrested for theft in the second degree and for an outstanding warrants and driving while license suspended. The reporting party stated the suspect drove off and gave a vehicle description.
