BONNEY LAKE POLICE REPORTS: Burglary, parahernalia and theft

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: Officers were dispatched Jan. 10 to the 7900 block of 193rd Avenue East for a report of a residential burglary. The victim arrived home from work and found the drawer from her nightstand removed and the items inside lying on the floor next to the bed. According to the victim, her checkbook and check card were missing. A television and cable box were also on the floor and a dresser drawer was pulled out. Nothing else appeared disturbed. Police are investigating.

PARAPHERNALIA: Police on Jan. 10 were dispatched to the Jet Stream Car Wash for a report of two suspicious vehicles. Upon contact, police discovered one of the drivers to have a pair of outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of Kent. He was placed under arrest and informed police he had two marijuana pipes and work knife on his person. He was cited for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to Pacific where he was released to the custody of a kent police officer.

THEFT: Police on Jan. 11 took a report from a resident that his wife’s driver’s license, food stamp card and debit card had been taken from her purse while she was at Walmart. The debit card was canceled. Police are investigating.
