erA Bonney Lake woman was killed Sunday night after his car left the roadway and hit a tree on state Route 7 near 402nd Street East.

She was 39. Her name has not yet been released.

State police are investigating the accident, which occurred just before 10 p.m. Sunday. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were involved.

According to police, the woman was driving a 2004 Cadillac SRX, which left the roadway striking a guardrail and a tree. The woman was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
