Friends of the Libraries is holding a series of sales over the summer at which readers can find a good deal on books and help support their local library.

Money raised from the sales of books and other materials hosted by Friends of the Libraries fund library services.

The first sale at the Bonney Lake Pierce County Library is Friday, June 18 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., with another on Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Bags of books are sold for $2 each from noon until 4 p.m.

The Bonney Lake Library is located at 18501 90th St. E.
