A local lahar drill and several corrections.

• LOCAL KIDS DRILLING FOR LAHARS: Students in the White River and Carbonado school districts will be among those participating in a lahar safety drill this Friday morning.

• CHURCH CORNER CUT OFF: The last paragraph in last week’s Church Corner (“Accept God, and reject this new Bizzaro World”) was cut off while laying out the paper. We regret the error. To read the full column, head online to courierherald.com.

• MISIDENTIFIED FASTPITCHER: We misnamed an athlete in the photo caption of last week’s Sports Roundup on page 7. The person in the photo misidentified as Finn Still is actually Megan Klapperich, who was pictured putting a ball into play during the Hornets’ lopsided fastpitch victory over the Washington Patriots. The real Finn Still appears properly in this week’s Sports Roundup.

• TYPO IN HOWARD HANSON DAM STORY: We misspelled the name of Nancy Gleason, an Army Corps of Engineers fish biologist and environmental coordinator, in a story last week about new federal funding for the Howard Hanson Dam (“Howard Hanson Dam received $220 million for fish passage”). We regret the error.
