Square dancing lessons, Beautify Enumclaw, and more trial updates.

SQUARE DANCING: Buckley’s Spinners Square Dance classes are starting Sept. 17. The classes take place on Tuesday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Buckley Hall. Classes are $6 a lesson. Friday dances (7 to 9:30 p.m.) are $8 per event. Students are encouraged to attend each class, as new skills will be covered sequentially (there are other local classes on different days if you miss one). All ages are welcome. BEAUTIFY ENUMCLAW: The annual Beauty Enumclaw is scheduled for Sept. 14 to celebrate Worldwide Day of Service (Sept. 11). The event starts at 8:30 a.m. at the city’s Veterans Memorial with a small breakfast before heading out to various projects around the city at 8:45 a.m. Work gloves will be provided, but bring your own tools for the event based on what project you’d like to tackle. TRIAL UPDATE: The trial for Joseph Hefner, accused of child rape at a Maple Valley daycare, has been rescheduled from Aug. 5 to Sept. 30.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Laurence Lee Rawdon, accused of raping a Buckley minor, has been rescheduled from Aug. 20 to Oct. 17.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Joshua Eixenberger, accused of stealing copper cable, had been rescheduled from Sept. 9 to Nov. 18.
