WREATHS AROUND AMERICA: The town of Carbonado will be holding its third annual “Wreaths Around America” event on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Carbonado cemetery. The laying of the wreaths will start at 11 a.m., and the ceremony starting at noon. This event is free and open to the public.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Joseph Hefner, a former Maple Valley daycare worker accused of first degree rape of a child, has been rescheduled from Dec. 2 to Jan. 13, 2025.
