SUSPENDED LICENSE: On May 18 shortly after 1 a.m., a 37-year-old man from Auburn was stopped for speeding at the lower cemetery road. He was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was arrested and issued an infraction and citation.

LEAVE HIM ALONE: Shortly before 10 p.m. on May 18, police were asked to conduct a welfare check at a Spiketon Road residence. The subject was fine, and it turned out he was actively avoiding the person who asked for a welfare check.

NO COMMERCIAL LICENSE: At midnight on May 19, an officer on patrol observed a commercial motor vehicle eastbound on state Route 410 near Park Avenue. He stopped the vehicle for inspection and they relocated to a weighing scale. The driver was cited for not having a commercial license and failing to secure his load. The trailer was deemed out of service and removed.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Shortly after 11 a.m. May 21, a man was seen in the backyard of an Onaches Street residence. He did not have permission to be there from the homeowner. Police warned the man that the homeowner would have him arrested if she saw him again.

LACK OF RESPECT: Shortly after noon May 22, a man was contacted by police on Fourth Street and warned he was not to return to the Java Angels coffee stand. He had made an inappropriate remark to one of the workers at the stand and the owner subsequently requested he be advised by police that he was no longer welcome. The man stated he understood he would be arrested if he ever returned.
