FREE AT LAST: At 9:38 p.m. Aug. 23, an officer was dispatched to assist two citizens in the 28000 block of state Route 410 East. A married couple had been locked inside the Western Self Storage by accident. The officer was able to open the secured gate and help the man and woman out of the facility.
ILLEGAL FIRE: At 11:23 p.m. Aug. 24, an officer was dispatched to a 112th Street East business to respond to a possible fire. The property owner was found maintaining a fire. The man said he was not aware that he could not have one, but he extinguished the fire as requested.
AGENCY ASSIST: At 1:24 a.m. Aug. 26, a Buckley officer assisted Enumclaw police in checking on a loud party on Lafromboise Street. While contacting individuals and running their names, one of the subjects was found to have a Buckley warrant. He was placed under arrest and booked into Buckley jail.
COMPUTERS FOR CONTRABAND: At 4:39 p.m. Aug. 27, an officer was dispatched to a Church Street address in Carbonado for suspicious circumstances. The officer made contact with the reporting person. The man described another man, now inside a nearby building, that attempted to trade a computer for drugs. The officer contacted the alleged offender, who was extremely intoxicated and denied trying to get drugs for a computer. He was escorted from the location and advised not to return. He was also advised not to attempt to solicit drugs in trade for computer equipment.
