CANINE THEFT: A resident of 257th Place Southeast reported April 2 a dog had been stolen. After police responded, the animal was found at a neighbor’s home. Police were investigating if the incident began as an attempted theft and resulted in the dog getting away. A possible suspect vehicle was identified.

DOG BITE: A citizen reported to police April 2 being bitten by a dog at a Leo Place address. An officer was to make contact with King County Animal Control.

TWO ARRESTED: Police were checking on the welfare of someone sleeping in a vehicle the morning of April 2 but wound up arresting one person on a felony warrant and a second person for shoplifting.
