The Cascade Foothills Chorale will present John Rutter’s “Gloria” and Handel’s “Messiah,” two classic pieces, for its Christmas concert.
As is traditional, the chorale will offer two performances, though this year both will be matinees. Performances are slated for 2:30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7 in the Enumclaw High School auditorium, 226 Semanski St.
The choir will be directed by Jeremy Matheis, accompanied by Kathee Lundberg at the grand piano with special accompaniment by a chamber orchestra.
In addition, the choir members have created holiday baskets to be raffled. Raffle tickets will be sold before and after each performance and during intermission. A buffet of holiday treats and beverages also will be available.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (or $5 each if in a group of four or more seniors) and $6 for K-12 students.
Members of the Cascade Foothills Chorale also will be participating in the Enumclaw Christmas Parade following the Dec. 6 performance.
