A benefit concert and silent art auction for "Enumclaw's Baby" - the 7-month-old girl now recovering from 11 broken bones suffered during a brutal attack - has been planned for May 21.

The benefit will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Enumclaw High School auditorium. The celebrity host will be Pat Cashman, Seattle radio and television personality.

All proceeds from the event will be placed in the "Enumclaw's Baby" fund, recently established at Washington Mutual's Enumclaw branch by the Enumclaw Police Officers Association.

Businesses interested in donating raffle prizes should also contact Worthington.

The special event aims to help Angelina Oakley, who suffered broken bones in both arms and a leg last month. The 18-year-old boyfriend of the little girl's mother has admitted to assaulting the girl at least five times and has been charged. The girl's 19-year-old mother has also been arrested, charged with doing nothing to stop the repeated assaults on her baby and then lying to police in an effort to protect her boyfriend.
