Councilmember Randy McKibbin receives advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership | Bonney Lake

Randy McKibbin, Councilmember of the City of Bonney Lake was recently awarded the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) from the Association of Washington Cities. To date Mr. McKibbin participated in 65 hours of government leadership training to earn this distinction and contributed valuable service to the community.

Randy McKibbin, Councilmember of the City of Bonney Lake was recently awarded the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) from the Association of Washington Cities. To date Mr. McKibbin participated in 65 hours of government leadership training to earn this distinction and contributed valuable service to the community.

The CML program is designed to enhance the ability of elected city officials by providing knowledge and skills in the roles, responsibilities and legal requirements of city councilmembers; public sector resource management, community planning and development; and effective local leadership.

Councilmember McKibbin started his term as a councilmember for the City of Bonney Lake in January 2010 and serves as a member of the city council’s Economic Development Committee and Community Development Committee. Before election to the city council, he served as Chairman of the City’s Planning Commission.
