ATTEMPTED ENTRY: On Feb. 8 officers were called to a commercial burglary scene. While officers could not find any points of entry or unsecured entrances, the reporting party said he saw fresh pry marks on the back door. Inside the building was a car jack wrench the reporting party did not recognize, but the wrench was too big to have been used to pry the door open. There was no sign of a burglary inside.
CRASH AND HEROIN: Officers were dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Feb. 8. The male driver was injured and was uncooperative with the fire department. He told officers he was test driving the motorcycle and that it belonged to a friend. The driver denied drinking or using drugs while on the motorcycle. A record check revealed he had numerous misdemeanor warrants for his arrest, had a suspended license and didn’t have a motorcycle endorsement. Officers placed him under arrest and found a makeup container containing heroin in his pocket. Officers could not determine he was under the influence and charges were forwarded to the Pierce County Prosecutor.
COSMETIC SHOPLIFT: Officers were called on Feb. 8 to a shoplifter in custody of loss prevention staff. A records check of the subject revealed he had a warrant for his arrest out of Enumclaw. The subject was trespassed from the store and was turned over to Enumclaw police.
